It’s been years since comedians Colin Jost and Pete Davidson bought a retired Staten Island Ferry. Now, it’s an albatross — and a punchline.

Their idea to turn it into a venue has gone nowhere, and it’s racking up massive bills on its rented pier.

But local marine life experts have a solution for the jokesters to offload the 2,100-ton boondoggle: Sink it. For science. (And sea creatures.)

The official in charge of creating new artificial reefs in New York State wants the pair to send the vessel to a watery grave. Will they bite?

The mayor has vetoed a controversial bill approved by the City Council last month instructing the police department to establish anti-protest “buffer zones” around schools and educational institutions.

The city is trying to offer 2,000 free child care seats for 2-year-olds by September. To get that done, officials are proposing rules to ease health checks for providers.

Tuesday, April 28: Attend an evening in honor of actor and educator Chadwick Boseman, featuring a historic reading of his play, Hieroglyphic Graffiti at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Free, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
